Was Paula on drugs??

i am not trying to slander or spread rumors about Paula off American idol but i watched the show last night for the first time in probably 3 seasons and to me it looked like she was in her own world. Her eyes never looked fully open and she would stand up and dance before the a song even started, and when she played with Simon's arm to stop his talking or whatever what was with that? IDK is this how she is now or do you think she may have been on something?
