Can i sue my teacher?

My teacher had left a message on my dad's phone that i was being irate....now you really have to believe me when i say i am a "good girl" :p.....really i mean i never get in trouble i always do my work and i get really good grades...i want to be an attorney for goodness sake! Well he had called me irate because he thinks he can get away with not giving me makeup work for when i was absent.....when i had gotten my report card...he had given me an Unsatisfactory and a "Does not prepar daily"........okay well i got an A the first quarter of his cl and got a B this quarter...sooooo? Can i sue him for slander? and false accusation?
