Missing Laptop Battery Icon?

My laptop's battery icon is not appearing on my toolbar. When I right click the toolbar, go to properties, and look under the full list of icons, it isn't there. What can I do to make it reappear without restarting my computer? I saw some similar questions which said to go to my power options and click the advance tab, but I lack an advance tab. Thanks in advance.
