I love alternative rock (i think rap is crap, sorry) and im open to a lot of stuff when it comes to music. I'm looking for something new (sad maybe, or like, with meaning). How do I stop my 15 month old from feeding and get him out of the bed with mom and dad?

My 15 month old son, is an only child that feeds to sleep at night. I think he uses it as a comfort blanket. He sleeps in the bed with his father and I and when he awakes at night, he knows he can roll over and feed. I have tried chocolate milk, reg milk, water and OJ. Nothing works. His father travels alot and so he finds comfort in his feedings. If I try putting him in his crib, he screams and wants out. I can put him to sleep feeding then transfer him to his crib but he wakes up mad when he can't roll over and eat. HELP!!

I've been getting split second blackouts when i eat for 15 years. i'm 100% healthy otherwise. im taking anemia tests and want an epilepsy test for petit mal..i think heat triggers it...when we eat our temperature changes...also when im in a hot room i feel similarly light headed. its like a head rush..a wave comes over me and everything goes black for split seconds. i can have it a few times a day or not at all..mainly when i eat. stress seems to trigger it too. i read it could be jaw clenching which is interesting.....i wish i knew the answer to these annoying black outs!! anyone else have the same thing or know the answer? the doctors are baffled and of no help so far. someone mentioned gas boiler poisoning which is interesting as i sleep in a room that has a gas boiler..but then why would i get a blackout when i eat every time!!

Beef stew recipe, help with broth please?

Before you put your beef in the slow cooker season it and roll it in flour. Lightly brown it in a little oil on the stove. Then add it to the slow cooker. The flour will help make the broth thick like gravy. About an hour before it's done check and see if it's as thick as you want it. Yes put a wire screen around the larger cage to just be safe and finches can eat a pellet type of food but the pellets are super small....I do not remember the brand name but the pellet colors are red, green and yellow and it can be mixed with seeds. You dog normally has to be a full pedigree and has to have come from a kc registered breeder although they take other full breeds. Yes you have to pay and no it doesn't really stand for anything all you get is a certificate, people just do it because they feel that it makes their dog more of a better breed or to enter the competitions they provide like agility, when really it's nothing and goes to funding things like crufts, which we all have probably seen the show about, and how it's not really what you want you money going towards. Im pretty sure you have to send off blood samples from your dog for certain things as-well on the kc but not too sure.

Really what it boils down to (pun intended) is the quality and type of vegetables and the cut of meat.

I don't like it when people take traditional names and change the spelling to make it look more trendy. Some are okay (like Elisabeth), but most of them look ridiculous. I work for a job agency, they use me as a temporary worker so on my first job that I got thru this agency I got a job at a dog food company by the name of natural balance. Since may i have been working there, not once have i called in to not go to work. My newborn baby laughs in her sleep?

Why do dead beat dads always get away with not paying?

How come when a man chooses not to help support the child/ren that he helped create it is always up to the mother to figure out how to take care of the kids? How come the father can just go about his life like no one else matters and work underneath the table or not work at all and its ok. The courts never even really try to get the father to pay. They just say you have to wait until he gets a job. And when he doesn't, it takes months and months to suspend his license and months and months for anything else. (if they even decide to do anything) Meanwhile, the mother is working numerous jobs and struggling the whole time, while he is spending his money how ever he sees fit and not worrying about having to help. What kind of world are we living in? Its no wonder we have so many children today without fathers and In trouble. And so many mothers that cant provide the proper kind of life for their children. If the judicial system would just step it up and set some new guidelines we wouldn't have this problem. I think because there is no real structure to child support so many families are falling through the cracks and our kids are the ones who ultimately pay the price. Im disgusted...any thought or insights?

Widows explorer is having a problem. You are seeing it having fits. Since you do not have direct control while this is going on you will need to boot to an install disk and reinstall the OS. Nice if you let us know which one, but oh well that is the way it is. btw windows explorer is in charge more or less of putting all the pretty stuff on the desktop and keeping it there. Image backups are a handy thing to have.

I'm pretty sure you have to be at least 18 to apply. And you must have a high school diploma or g.e.d., and a valid drivers license. They will do a background check, strength test, physical and drug test. But experience is not required for being a conductor. The Cl 1 railroads (UP, BNSF, CSX, KCS, NS) will hire you to be a conductor with no experience. You will be trained as a brakeman/switchman first though, then conductor training, and then if you want, engineer school. Some railroads will force you to become an engineer, I'm not sure about CSX, be sure to ask them if you go to an interview. I will say this though, it will be a huge reality check and lifestyle change coming straight out of high school. Long hours of boredom, working nights, weekends and holidays, be sure you are ready to commit to that if you decide to take that job. Hope you do, good luck.

Does this sound gay to anybody?

Me & my best friend are very close. His mom offered me the chance to live with them & i jumped on it. My parents are ok with it because their alcoholics so whatever. Anyway, it's just me, him & his mom. I have my own room & everything but the two of us like to sleep together. We stay up til 3am & sleep til 3pm. His mom homeschool's us because she always taught him & may as well teach me to.(16 by the way). We always do everything together, eat, sleep, swim, video games & all. When we sleep we usually spoon. It takes all my will power not to get hard but it works. He always wants to sit on my lap which i let him do. He likes me to carry him in the pool, & walks around naked sometimes. I understand he had no father & is naturally less masculine but still. Weirdly i think i'm attracted to him. I think if we were a couple it would be great. His mom actually says she hopes he's gay because she wanted a daughter. We could have & fall asleep in eachothers arms & shower together & it would just be nice. My dad was a so i guess i inherited that a little bit & that's why i'm weary of it. I know this sounds very gay & i probably am. If you know, were or are a gay teen please give me some advice.

Should we tell Grandma to get lost or just suggest supervised visits?

My fiance's mom has been watching both our toddlers (both same and less than a year apart) and we have recently discovered that she's been playing with my fiance's kid and not letting mine join in. She's also calling my child names and saying she doesn't love or like my kid. And it also appears she's been telling my fiance's daughter to misbehave and not listen to me. She also undermines me in my own home when I ask my fiance's kid to do something (ie: cleaning room or finishing dinner before dessert). And by the way, she tells us that she loves both kids the same and encourages them both to call her Grandma.

Problem with combi boiler worcester 360, low pressure?

I have a worcester 360 combi boiler and it was working perfectly well until last night when the low pressure light came on, I had a look at the pressure gauge and it said that the pressure was still over 1. My friend's son in law says its nothing to do with the pressure and that there is something else wrong with it. Any ideas please?????

I'm near my gcses and i'm really worried, i knew that i screwed up both my sciences which has narrowed my exams, P.E i'm not going to p because, im sure. And electronics which is really complicated i think i might fail. Things i could get is media, business, product, i have this alan exam which i got a c for[full gcse], and 2 englishes, i dont know if i can p electronics, all these subjects i am on a c/d and i could possibly get c's. It's because the college i went to didn't teach and warn us how important cw etc was and also we were put in sets for what we were predicted to get in sats, so they tought us like we were not going to achieve much, i am naturally smart, i did really good but in this college i got confused with my electronics because i didn't ask a lot and i wasn't taught alot, will i do better then i think? or fail miserably, for mock i got 1 or 2 c's and majority d's, i didn't revise that well. IME parakeets were a little more 'into' hanging out with people, and finches were not. Parakeets and finches both cannot deal with drafty rooms and are social - so getting more than just 1 is a good idea. Be sure the cage is large enough!

It really sounds like you're having a hard time. You did say something about getting good grades, but you said it was sad. It isn't sad at all, the good grades will most probably get you a much better life when you are older. It opens so many doors and gives you so many new opportunities. Don't give up. I understand that you have no one to talk to. At some point in my life I felt exactly the same. I managed to talk to a teacher who I trusted and they got me a counsellor. I wasn't very close to my counsellor, but it did help me. You might not have a teacher you trust, but maybe try calling childline or look up some information about different counsellors in your area. If you're still not happy, I don't mind talking to you. I'm also 15 and lost my mum on my 14th birthday, after that everything just seemed to go downwards. Things have improved for me now, so don't ever give up :) There is always hope x

Hi there, I've personally been on the Atkins many times in the past 10 years. This diet is good if you just want to loose weight fast for a short period of time. It's not a good diet to be on the rest of your life, trust me! I worked in the medical field for many years and did a lot of research, and also had many personal experiences. What I can tell you is that for the Atkins diet has changed recently, but without reading his book, I can basically tell you what to eat and what not to. First, in the morning, I would eat about 2 to 3 eggs, sausage or bacon, about 2 or 1 each, you can have more if you want, it's basically little or no carbs, then you can have a diet drink that has no carbs, sugar free anything basically, soda, juice etc... for lunch, maybe a chicken salad with avocado, yes i said avocado, it's ok to eat that and also cheese's, low fat cottage cheese with a little bit of pineapple, and for dinner, any kind of meat, doesn't matter about the fat content, even fish is really good!! You can follow that up with a salad and/or veggies, just be careful with carrots and corn, they tend to have a lot of carbs. Oh, and for dessert, you can have sugar free jello, pudding, Popsicles, fudge sickles, or what ever you find that is sugarfree!! All you do is add the total fiber and subtract the total carbs, and that's how many carbs per serving. Also look out for sugar alchols, they are fake sugar so you need to add that to the fiber and subtract the carbs, and there you go!! Like I said before, it's not for life, I have had fast weight loss, and I've gained it all back and then some, so just be carefull, the best way to loose is to watch your portions and to exercise! Wear cloths for 90 degree heat and humid conditions with some rain. The food is good and it is enjoyable. My opinion is you didn't plan much when you asked this question.

I had a chest x-ray due to coughing. My physician reviewed the x-ray and determined it was bronchitis and then prescribed medication. Now two days later I get a call from my physicians office and they stated they found an "abnormal soft tissue fullness" on the x-ray and they are scheduling me for a CT scan of my chest this week. Yes, all military and defense support for Europe. WWII was over 60 years ago. Time for them to pay their own security bills. They have lots of extra cash for nationalized health insurance, worker's comp and 5 weeks paid vacation. After we have those things for our own people then we can give subsidies to rich nations with skilled workers competing with our own for jobs.
